Stocking Stuffers - Nubbie Dolls

One of the nicest things about our ever growing data base of patterns and appliques, is the ability to mix and match projects, or to repurpose projects for different needs. For example, take the pattern for our Nubbie Doll, make it in a beautiful Christmas flannel, and you have an absolutely perfect stocking stuffer for the wee ones on your list! Think of all the gorgeous flannels out there today. The possibilities are endless!
We have baskets of Nubbie Dolls in our house, and even as the grandbabies get older, they still play with them. But wouldn't this be PERFECT for Baby's First Christmas? The pattern for Nubbie Dolls can be found HERE or with our FREE Patterns. And frantic moms... if you have all the materials on hand, you really can make one of these during naptime! Enjoy!

This would make a lovely baby's first Christmas. You could do a little embroidery, perhaps, on that lovely hem, say first Christmas or a name or a date. Just lovely.

I'm in a new mother's group and I wanted to make small gifts for the babies in the group. There are 12 of them! This is perfect! Thanks.
Very cute in Christmas
Very cute in Christmas flannel and a great idea for Baby's 1st Christmas. Looking at the doll in the holiday fabric, I thought a few of these would also be a really nice decorative touch for the holidays too.

They would make lovely
They would make lovely Holiday accents. I was also thinking they would be adorable on a Christmas package instead of a bow. Or as ornaments (the size could be reduced) or add a halo and some wings for an angel... hmmm... think I might give that a try!
